All that I am, He wants me. Just as I am, He Still wants me, (wow - His Love is so forgiving). He wants me - that's why Jesus was sacrificed. Gods heart is so focused on me, His heart loves me so much that He denied of himself His Son. He allowed His Son to suffer and die just for me. In His Graciousness and Mercy, His Love poured out - total and complete. As in scripture, they pierced his side and water flowed out. His life totally given for those:-
We need to be reminded often of this, He loves me. He loves all those who have wronged, are wronging others and will wrong others. I fit into that category so easily, for we all fall short of the glory of God. But through Jesus we are made righteous and can come to the Father and know we are forgiven. We are made whole and can live in this freedom here and now and into the future - for eternity we are made. We might be made in Australia but our tags of manufacture say "Made For Eternity". Have you ever seen those girly movies where the girl is hugging her pillow on her bed because she just found out that he loved her? That's the picture I have with God loving me. And the smile isn't wiped from my face, it just gets broader and broader the more I get to know Him. Then Life comes along and I forget to bring this love, this freedom, this feeling into my everyday life and am so much poorer for it. Lord, help me everyday to carry this love in my heart, my thoughts, my actions and may it become a part of me NOT apart from me. As the children's pray goes… Lord I come to you, to give you my thoughts, my work, my play. Whatever I do, whatever I say I offer to you these today. As I started with my thoughts All that I am, He wants me - I can only offer to Him who I am, and so I offer who I am to Him. His reply is "I want you and Love you just as I created you to be." What a reply! I think I'll just sit in the moment and hug my pillow and smile! |
