Day 3 of the 21 Day journey of Seeking God. It seems a long way to go. I know one man who felt stuck. He was happy at work, his family was going well and yet he felt as if a cloud was hanging over him. Something seemed as if it was missing.

The Church group that he belonged to also decided that they would have a 21 day period of Seeking God. He decided that he would enter into it with a total commitment in the hope of breaking through to peace and another level in his life.

To show God he was serious he decided that he would fast from food, social media and any type of reading that did not point Him to God besides that which he had to do for work.

One day passed and then another and another and yet he persisted believing the Scripture that says if you seek God you will find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart.

It was not until the seventeenth day that he experienced a breakthrough in his heart and mind. The heaviness that he felt was over him lifted. In the remaining days he felt God lead him to make some decisions that are affecting the rest of His life.

To get to that point of God’s blessing he had to persist and keep asking God to come. And He Did.

Do not give up.

Lord God as we seek you may we find you on the journey to you in this season of Seeking God.

  1. Wow! Your understanding of God and your ability to relate that to the everyday life has continued to give me the strength to want to continue on my journey as a Catholic. You have helped me to develop a greater relationship with God and the videos and scripture reflections give the regular support I need to walk with God. Prayer is something that doesn’t always come easily but I desire to improve that. I have been forever grateful since I stumbled across your Tv show in 2013, then seeing you make an impact in parishes as you travelled around Australia. You have made a real difference in my life and I pray that I can make a difference to the lives of those I meet in my daily life. Thanks Bruce, what you do is amazing.

    1. Your thoughts reflect mine David. We are truly blessed to have come across Bruce and Rosemary and their ministry.

  2. Ever since holy week, i returned to coming to mass and seeking god more diligently. Why? Because i was involved in dating someone who was christian but of another faith. It didn’t end well, and we both hurt each other. I knew i had to let him go. I’ve been seeking god everyday since then. Some days are harder than other days. I became unmanageable in my life. Slowly, i am trugding through this period and days are slowly improving. It doesn’t help when you also suffer from a mental health condition that often can drag you back into a space of great despair.
Since holy week, i started to receive these video clips of the catholic guy, and it has helped me to again back into prayer every morning. My prayer life had diminished somewhat. I’m glad that theres the 21 day seeking god because after easter i started to seek in prayer the holy spirit and doing daily prayer devotions to holy spirit to help me to mature beyond what’s my current disposition. Throughout my day i think and ask holy spirit n jesus to help me in every thought, action, word etc because i had become so insecure, scared and old wounds were reopened due to this relationship that i was in, now ended. I take the time now to get up early enough to have time to do my prayer session with the holy trinity, I’ve increased my adoration times and try to go to mass daily.
Thank you for the daily messages in this 21 days prayer program, it is helping me greatly. I did not have a good relationship with my father, but i know now he loved me in his own way, n I him. I do miss him. However, I am having a relationship with father god whom has shown me his my true father who will not forsake me, will not abandon me, but hears my prayers and is only a prayer away. Slowly I’m learning to trust him more and his peace is slowly calming my heart, mind and soul.
Thank you bruce and your family for sharing this time with us. May god bless. Jules.????

Every morning to receive an e-mail from you is so invigorating. It means I’m going to set aside time to pray.
This is only possible because you Bruce are so dedicated to God’s work.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, prayers and the Rosary so that we all are inspired too.

  4. Thank you Bruce, Rosemary and Catholic Guy Team, for yet another wonderful morning reflection on your TV broadcast the Rosary and the daily reflection, all of which are truly inspiring.
I love the rosary meditation and find it so much more effective being able to say it with you, I just feel a lot more closer to God and also part of a community in prayer.
Bruce have you by any chance made a rosary DVD? as I would like to purchase one if you have. I used to have a rosary tape with all the mysteries and sometimes play it in my car when I was driving on long trips and found it very useful
    God’s Blessings John

  5. Thank you Bruce and Rosemary for saying a daily rosary. You are really helping me every day!
