  3. Dear Lord, May the people who have lost their loved ones be comforted by You and may Your strength renew them with courage to face the future without their loved ones. Eternal rest grant unto them Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls rest in peace. We ask this prayer in Jesus’ Name through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

  4. Lord I pray that you will reveal yourself to our brothers and sisters in Manchester in a powerful way. Pour your love into and over them at this time. I pray that you will welcome all those who have passed away with your love and mercy and bring healing to the injured

  5. Thank you Bruce,
for your kind and caring words.
The Manchester tragedy, reminds us, yet again; how, in an instant, our lives can alter.
    How quickly we can shift…….
    from laughter to tears,
    happiness to sadness,
    safety to fear.
What won’t alter is our solidarity, …
our unity, to ‘come together’ …….
strangers helping strangers, risking lives, to help those in need.
Yes, Bruce I too believe God was there, weeping at the unrest and brokenness, in our once peaceful life.
The inability to live together, as one.

God bless those who lost family members, and friends.
For those who were injured, physically and emotionally, our heartfelt prayers.
    May they receive ongoing support,
    care and healing.

Together, let us pray for the restoration of calm, faith, peace, and love.
As we come together in prayer,
may we feel God’s presence, empower and uplift us.
    May courage,
faith and hope, be our guiding light.

  6. Lord God, I pray for your comfort and consolation for the victimized in Manchester and victims of hatred and violence all over the world. I pray for repentance and conversion of heart for those who seek to perpetrate violence against other human beings. Grant us your peace, Lord Jesus, in the power of your Holy Spirit.

  7. Thanks Bruce.
Sometimes I wonder whether if GOD had any regrets, wouldn’t it be creating man in his image? A loving GOD who gave us a free will and we are using it to destroy the very earth He gave us and each other. I pray for those who are hurting, for their families and friends, the the whole country and for Manchester in particular. Yes God is still seated on the throne and we ask for his forgiveness and mercy. May those who were injured recovery quickly, in Jesus Name.

  8. Lynette says: A Prayer for Today.
Every day we need you,Lord, But this day especially. We need some extra strength to face whatever is to be…this day more than any day We need to feel you near for the dear people of Manchester to fortify there courage and to overcome their fear.
By theirself they cannot meet the challenge of the hour. These are times when human ceatures need a higher Power to help them bear what must be borne. And so, dear Lord I prayer hold on to all the people of the Manchesters trembling hands and be there with them all always.

  9. Patricia
As a mother who has lost her only son, I hurt for the mothers and fathers have lost their kids. But believe me God gives you the strength. I hope and pray that they have the best support that God will provide them with.

There will be good days and bad days. God will give you the strength. You have to put all your thrust in him, and he will take care of you. Just know that your loved one is in the care of our Lord. No more suffering or pain, and thrust that one day when your turn comes you will meet forever. I live by this theory and this is what keeps me living. May God give you peace and comfort.

  10. Dear wonderful Lord I implore you to hold Your people in Manchester in their grief and bewilderment. Show them that You are the only one who can help. Please bless all who are doing their best to give support. I beg You Lord to help the ‘normal’ Muslems in Manchester to come out in solidarity with all the inhabitants and to show their support for their fellow man. I pray too Lord for all those who have been deceived by those who use fragile people to foster their hatred. Please show the foolish ones taken in by the terrorists to realise that LOVE will always be stronger than hate.
