  1. Many thanks again Bruce for your Words of Encouragement and Wisdom. I felt the Holy Spirit tell me a few days ago to tell my X wife that I loved her and will Never Stop loving her. Despite the desperate situation of our marriage ending over 4 years now. I didn’t get a Response but I also Never expected to. The important thing was to tell her I loved her and would never stop loving her.
I had a tremendous Block sadly with my earthly Father. As God love him, he was just incapable of telling anyone he loved them!
So whenever I heard about the ” Love of the Father” I just couldn’t get my head around that. I believed that when I was old enough to go to the Pub with him he just might tell me and I might tell him that we loved each other. Sadly he was buried on my 16th birthday and I never got to buy him a drink. But drink I did and became addicted to both alcohol and drugs. But thankfully having ended in prison in 1983 I was confined to my prison cell! But on a Sunday during the season of Advent it was our Constitutional Right to attend MASS! I used the opportunity to get out of my cell! The priest spoke that morning about John the Baptist and how God was Preparing the Way!
Praise you Jesus for all Your Love and kindness. I have Often told my father who is in heaven that I do indeed Love him and I know if it were Not for His Addiction He also would tell me that He Loved Me. Thank you Jesus. Amen

  9. In the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Dear Lord I thank you for all you have blessed me with throughout my life. You are wonderful in all you do. I ask, Lord, you wrap your arms around my 100 year old grandmother as she is growing depressed now that winter is approaching and she is more home bound. I ask that you also watch over my father who is fighting fatigue and depression. Allow that I may go to them and tell them how much I love them and am grateful to them for all they have done for me and my family. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  10. What a wonderful message. My father passed away two months ago. It has made me more aware of saying how I feel to my loved ones as much as possible. My mom visited me yesterday for two days and I was sure to thank her for all she has done for me and to tell her how much I enjoy her company. It really is a wake up call when we lose someone just how unimportant the little things are and how important it is to show love to everyone as much as we can each and every day.

  18. I was lucky to spend the last year of my dad`s life getting to know him. He raised me, but I never got to know who he was as a person, when I was growing up. That last year I learned so much from him, and I new him before he past on to be with my mother his 1 and only Love, after God and he got to know me. He raised all his 15 kids in the Catholic Church. We all still have a strong Faith, my parents rooted us in the love of God. And now I hope that everyone gets to have that chance that I had, my dad worked and was a quiet and laid back man, Mom and Dad showed me what unconitional love truely is , it`s the way God loves all of use. Even ones that hate use. I love them anyway, that`s what God wants. I hope you all understand what I`m saying.

  19. God gave me an opportunity to spend quality time with my father before he died in July 2009.

I say the phrase “God gave” not just because He is a giver, but also because we don’t take the time out to do simple things for one other.

I’ve been guilty of this in the past. I’m saying this to take the time to do whatever because you may never know the impact or impression it leaves the other individual with….
