  1. Lord, may I always seek you first! Give me the strength and self knowledge to give up being irritable with others. Lord God i commit to you. Amen.

  2. Lord help me to come closer to You during this Lentan journey. May I continue to remove those barriers that block Your Spirit from shining Your light on the dark area of my soul and spirit. I renew my surrender to Your Love. amen

  3. Lord this Lent I want to walk with you and get to know you better, listen to my heart and let the Holy Spirit work within me. Amen.

  4. Lord, as I walk through this journey of Lent help me to be a shining example that You do exist in me and I in You. Help me to break all the chains that hold me back from doing Your Work. Amen

  5. Wow! So much clearer. I already knew this on some level but would not have been able to articulate it.
    Thank you for providing clarity,
    Bruce

  6. I decided I would give up the time I spend during ‘down time’ to play solitaire and other games on the iPad in order to pray and read the scriptures, or inspirational reflections, during Lent. I find I rely too much on playing those games to relax myself from the stresses of my life. Now, I will devote that time to God by my efforts to become closer to Him and get to know Him better.
Thanks Bruce for your encouragment to do this 🙂

  7. Thank you Bruce for making me aware of what to give up this lenten season. I pray that God will help me to realize what is expected of me as His daughter. Bruce, you are a God sent to us. Thank you. God bless.

  8. The idea of our lenten sacrifice being a turning to God is very powerful

  19. Lord Heavenly Father please grant me the grace of Your Love so that I can love You as You deserve to be loved. Lord please grant me the grace of Your Love so I may love Your Church the way You want me to love Your Church Lord Jesus. Grant me the grace of Your Love Dear Heavenly Father that I may love my husband, son and family the way You want me to love them Lord. Loving God grant me the grace of Your Love to love my neighbour whoever they are as You want me to Love them Lord. Lord Jesus full of mercy, grant me the grace of Your Love that I may love those who make life hard for me, those who are not my friends, those I don’t get on with the way You loved and forgave Your enemies. Loving, compassionate Jesus grant me the grace of Your Love so that I may love myself like You love me Lord Jesus. I ask all this Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.

  20. Dear Lord,
Thank you for being in my life. You know my needs and I know You hear my prayers. Teach me to trust in your goodness and mercy and to always remember your will, not mine, and all prayers will be answered in your time.
I offer up Fr Ezi especially so that he may get through his trials and know that You are always with him in his needs. I also offer Bruce up to You. Heal him and keep him in good health as he does your work. May You always be praised and glorified through Fr Ezi and Bruce.
Thank you for everything you have done for us, for giving us Jesus to save us and the Holy Spirit to strengthen us. Amen

  21. As part of my commitment journey, I am going to take care of myself on a daily basis starting with simple routines. I am also going to commit more time to God starting with five minutes a day with NO distractions and focus on our relationship.
