  1. I want to thank you for this wonderful Lenten program. I am disabled and one of my carers gave me your email address. Its starts my day after the carer gets me up and gets my breakfast.
I cant get to Mass, and not really computer literate, I stumbled across a mass in London. I feel really blessed by both of you. I have been in our parish since 1963 actually it was a small wooden church in the hills. Now its broken up into 5 parishes which florished till the last 15 years. With the shortage of priests our parish priest now runs two parishes, two schools. He joined to be a missionary, now his order has sent him to Australia to us. He does not have time to visit the sick, its sad its come to this.
I have taken in a homeless person he suffers from bad depression. He is improving , your morning u tube has really helped me start my day with a lighter heart listening to you. Over 20 years ago I started a small prayer group in my home, we are down to 2 people. Others have moved away or gone into care. The last one left brings me communion, its so special and its wonderful we are still going. The Lord has been with us. I want to thank you again for this great oportunity to start my day with the Lord, its so much easier to listen, than to read I am not a morning person, I took on board about giving and also fasting . Faithfully yours Jill

  2. What a beautiful message Bruce, every aspect of it is so true, it’s been happening since the beginning of time, and yes there’s always going to be hurdles, falling over is part of the learning curve.
    I God we trust Amen

  3. HI Bruce
Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I managed to only catch you from day 9, but now feel blessed to hear your daily Lenton message. It’s current, real and ‘always creates a reflection’ of my daily life in some way, shape or form.
May the spirit of the Cross be with you always. Michael

  4. I keep asking God what He wants of me.
It seems to me that I have to hit a wall, crash, so that only one direction, one choice is left to me. Then, from what happens next, when I ask Him if I’ve made the right decision, I get the affirmation that, yes, that’s right.
I’m so blind, so indecisive that God has to let me hit the wall to get me to change direction…..like my budgie, when he was learning to fly; it’s a wonder that he didn’t break his little neck before he could navigate.

  5. Thank you for your message today.Praise the Lord you did not give up and you continued to listen to what God wanted you to do .God bless you and all that you are doing.

  6. Bruce,

So many Scriptures come to me regarding your lesson today: “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart,” ” For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans to prosper you to give you a hope and a future,” Your were born for such a time as this, “If I parish, I parish.” and may more. Your lesson is a repeat of my own life, thank you for sharing,

When God created you your desires were placed in side of you..

May He continue to fill you to the overflow.

  7. Thanks Bruce for the wonderful words. Please pray for me so that God can tell me What he wants me to and where he wants me to be! Hallelujah Amen

  8. Wow, Bruce! Discerning whether my desire/dream is what God’s will is for me, is the toughest part of getting started. Then when roadblocks come, they cause me to question, did I get this wrong? Or how am I supposed to do whatever is next? I hold on to the thought that because I seek God ‘s will that he is pleased with that and will help me figure it out. But it is hard!!

  9. Bruce you are so inspiring and I thank God for you. Today pls pray for my daughter having trouble in her marriage with her husband and finances. Please help them stay strong and get thru this. Thank you
