  1. Bruce, I will give my life to my Ex,who left me and continually causes me emotional pain, that through treating him with kindness, humility and graciousness it may encourage him and others who are troubled to turn to God. I pray through Jesus Christ the ultimate example of unselfish service to help me with this.

  2. Lord I will be more aware of those around me as well as my family, of their needs and not miss an opportunity to lay my life down, to follow your example Lord Jesus. Whether it be in word or in action I say and do to You Lord. We are all made in the image and likeness of You lord Jesus. Remind me of this especially when a person may irritate me or have difficulty with. Grant me the grace of Your courage, patience, strength and most importantly Your Love to do the will of our Heavenly Father. I ask this prayer Lord in the name of Jesus, through Your power Holy Spirit Amen.

  3. Lord, I need you everyday, at every moment. Sometimes I forget this and think I can do it on my own, until you gently remind me in some way. For me, there is fear in laying down my life, you might ask me to do something that is too difficult or scary. Help me to simply trust you in all things and at all times. Dear Lord thank you for all your many blessings and for your constant love and patience.

  4. Dear Lord, suffering from severe clinical depression for so many years has changed me from someone who could visit a sick or needy friend at a moment’s notice, to someone sinking in self-pity. I pray that now that I am off medication I can lay my life down for reformation of charity and love in my life so that I can again serve any brother or sister who needs a sign of Your love. I am weak Lord, I can only do this with Your help and strength. Amen.

    1. What a beautiful, selfless prayer Deidre. The fact that you want to serve any brother or sister shows that you are not weak at all. You are strong!

  5. Dear Father, may I pay my respect and gratitude to Jesus for laying down his life for me this weekend by simply leading by example to my 3 beautiful children. My three living testaments of your love, power and grace. I hope that by reflecting deeper this holy weekend that I may demonstrate my love to You by simply acting like a patient mother who unreasonably loves and accepts my children by acts of kindness…something I do not do consistently enough. For, if I can’t demonstrate love and patience to my children (indeed, my husband also) then what kind of hapless hypocrite am I to contemplate doing so to strangers beyond the safe confines of my home. Thank you Father, thank you my big brother Jesus. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I pray for calm within. I love you God. xxx

  6. I am calling to pray in the morning to encourage a grandmother in my church who has custody for 3grandchildren 2preteens(boys). And a 6month old girl. She needs prayer ,physical help and financial help. I am looking into financial aid and some care giver to allow her to have some time to herself. The prayer portion is to be more patient ,kind and loving and to give those boys back to God and help their mother to step up. In Jesus name.THIS IS ONE OF THOSE PRAYING GRANDMAS WE NEED TO SUPPORT🙏🏽❤️Loretta

Instead of complaining or commenting, I will see them knowing that You live in them and ask You to bless them.
