WARM UP QUESTIONS:

“We become like who we are taught by.”

Describe a significant person or teacher in your life.

SCRIPTURE STUDY: 1 Corinth 4:16-17

I appeal to you, then, be imitators of me. For this reason I sent you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ Jesus, as I teach them everywhere in every church.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1. Jesus said, ‘Come follow me and do what I do.’ As Christians we are called to teach people about Jesus from how we live our lives. Our lives are meant to preach louder than our words. What challenges do you face in doing this?

2. There are many reasons why we may not feel worthy of people following our lives. Are you defeated in any part of your life and how can you overcome that?

3. Bruce said, ‘You don’t become who you home to become you only become what you do.’ Being a disciple is about ‘meeting, memory, mind, mouth, manner, mystery, moments and maturity.’ What areas are you currently working at? How can your Impact Group help you?

4. Looking back at your notes from this week’s Message, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you?
