The Engine Room

  1. Reflect on Sunday’s Scripture using the following questions:

What do you see?

What do you think it means for you?

What do you think God is saying to you about it?

What are you going to pray about it?

What are you going to do about it?

  1. What challenges you most about being the Spiritual Engineers or Prayer Warriors in the Engine room of our Ministry?

  1. “Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.” [1Corinth 16:13]

An engine room has a shift or watch that ensure that things continue in the proper direction. Rosemary reminded us that we must be on our guard, to watch and be awake to what the Holy Spirit is saying to each of us as individuals. Are you keeping your watch? What do you have a sense the Holy Spirit is saying to you right now?

  1. In today’s scripture Jesus tells the disciples to, ‘give them something to eat!’ In other words, just DO something! In what area of your life as a called person do you know that God is instructing you to do just DO something?

  1. YOU ARE THE ENGINE ROOM. Pray intentionally that our Ministry would serve and glorify God at the Sunnybank Mission this week and through all the ways we proclaim in the world.
